Faith in the Unseen

"Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
This sermon reflects on the story of St. Thomas the Apostle, who doubted the resurrection of Jesus Christ until he had physical proof. The sermon emphasizes the importance of faith and belief in God’s promises, even in the absence of tangible evidence. Highlighting examples from the lives of scriptural figures like Abraham, who believed God's promises and left his land and started his journey of life without any direction or knowledge of his own. By faith, Moses left Egypt. The belief of Centurion to heal his servant without the physical presence of the Lord, the woman with the flow of blood healed by touching the Lord's garments, and Peter walked on water.
All of them exemplified faith despite not having direct evidence of God’s promises. This is further illustrated by biblical narratives where faithful actions, even in the face of doubt, resulted in divine blessings.
Encouraging believers to accept and trust in the unseen realities of God’s existence and His kingdom and strengthen their faith in heaven and angels, rising from death, eternal life, satan not conquered the world, and we have the ultimate victory in Christ.
