God's Perfect Timing

Dec 14, 2025    Fr Elijah Estafanous
n this sermon, we reflect on the readings of the first Sunday of the blessed month of Kiahk and the annunciation of Saint John the Baptist. Through the lives of Saint Zacharias and Saint Elizabeth, King David’s cry in Psalm 12, the call to patience in the Catholic Epistle, and the command of Christ to wait for the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts, we are reminded of a powerful truth:

God’s timing is perfect.

Waiting does not mean God is absent.
Silence does not mean neglect.
Delay does not mean denial.

What God is doing in you while you wait is just as important as what you are waiting for.
