In this moving Holy Week sermon, Fr. Mark invites us to examine two radically different hearts: one that sold Christ for silver, and one that anointed Him for glory. Through the lens of Wednesday Pascha, we’re confronted with the stark choice between greed and devotion, betrayal and love, regret and true repentance.
Judas was trusted, chosen, and close to Christ — yet his heart was consumed with lust for money. The woman who anointed the Lord spoke no words, made no public gestures — but offered the deepest act of worship, preparing His body for burial ahead of time, participating in eternity with the Eternal One.
