Repentance Through the Passion

We often think that Judas' biggest tragedy is his betrayal of Christ, but his biggest tragedy is actually losing hope in the mercy God. If we too lose hope in the magnitude of God's mercy to forgive our sins then we partake in the same tragedy as Judas and the Romans who made mockery of Christ and His sacrifice.
