The Knowledge of God Comes Through Jesus

On the 2nd Sunday of Tout, the Church reads from Luke 7:11–17, the story of Christ raising the widow’s son at Nain. At the heart of this gospel is the revelation of Christ’s compassion and power over death. Just as He touched the bier and gave life back to the young man, Christ enters the broken places of our lives and brings resurrection where we only see loss.
